Testimonials
The gulf side of the island offers an incredible array of fish including snook, redfish, jack, lady fish and, in the right season, lots of tarpon, often within less than a hundred yards of the beach. Untold varieties of water-fowl come to Casey Key to dine on the generous endowment of shrimp, minnows and shell-housed sea “critters” that surrounds it. Visits of the majestic Blue Heron to Gulfside Beach Club are a daily occurrence, and vacationers often learn to distinguish “their” bird from all the others. You will find a rich variety of restaurants, “Tiki-Bars,” clubs and other commercial establishments within a few miles of our property, several within easy walking distance. There are no such commercial establishments on the island itself, but when the need arises, they are easily accessible. (Bait and fishing gear are, of course, available. Just a mile and a half south, on the north bank of Venice Inlet, is the picturesque, distinctly “old Florida,” North Jetty Fish Camp.)
